Quotes have been a constant inspiration to my life. They help steer my thoughts into a positive direction when I’m letting my arch nemesis dictate my happiness.
I compiled some of my favorite business quotes to help inspire you and stay true to your core values. There are a lot of entrepreneurs that give up on being happy at work. They think if they just work really hard and ignore everything else, it will be ok. They are missing the point. We are put on this earth to do great things, but we can’t sacrifice our health and happiness in the process.
I don’t care if you work for yourself or for someone else, work dictates a huge portion of our happiness. It’s up to each of us to make our working lives happy so that we can make the biggest impact possible for as long as possible.

Your career is determined by how much energy you can bring to your projects. Learn how you can improve your energy by making time to process your thoughts and emotions at the end of the day by creating a daily reflection practice. You can get the dig to fly practice sheet and do the Dig to Fly process. You’ll get results in just a couple days.
Personally I like the following two:
1. Failure – When your best just isn’t good enough.
2. Don’t confuse effort with results.
Hi Justin, I really like the last one. I think too often we aren’t proud of our efforts even if we don’t get the results we hoped for. The best way to motivate ourselves is not to just celebrate the results, but also the effort, so even when we fail we stay focused, learn from our mistakes and are excited to improve for the next time.
I have heard this all before from time to time, but really glad to see this all at one place. My personal favorite one in this list is of Steve Jobs and I am also fan of his other quotes.. have been reading your blog for a while now.. so keep posting these kind of awesome posts..
Ever since I first read this post, the quote “Failure doesn’t mean you are a failure it just means you haven’t succeeded yet” has been running through my head. It’s so powerful that I think it’s completely reframing my beliefs about winning and losing. Thanks!
I really like your message, it’s has some similarities to ours about having a positive, happy workplace.
Hi Preetam, I love that Steve Jobs quote too. What a wonderful mad genius he was.
Hi Laura, I know. That quote sticks with me too. If you are passionate about something you can never give up. You just need to find the right way to succeed.
Thanks Ariel. I love a fellow believer.
