    In getting ready to place furniture and even before that, in the design of our new house, I did look at some Feng Shui books. And while some tips would make us re-construct our whole house (not possible), others were great and very welcome points.

    I think at the end of the day, it is about creating a welcoming space, whether in the office, home office or any room of the house.

    Clutter is not good period. It blocks energy flow and makes us feel like we always have something to “deal with” or “clean” creating stress. Parts of nature are beautiful and calming and should be incorporated in good amounts.

  4. Dear Karl, this is great advice. I realized reading it that I have done these things in the past (I work at home), but have not done them for some time now. I have tons of plants but not in my office, and I used to have a water fountain but have not for a few years. Reading this made me realize how much I miss these thing.
