I’m talking about being so happy that our cheeks hurt from smiling too much.
I’m launching a new “day” of work happiness. I’m calling it “Happy At Work Action Day.” I can see some of you thinking – one day is not enough. I need 200 happy at work action days.
How about we start with one, try to make a change from there and then we can expand it.
Why do we need a “Happiness At Work Action Day?”
We need this day because we don’t focus enough time and energy in our pursuits to make our work happiness a reality.
We should be spreading the message of happiness at work because in these tough times so many people are worried about losing their jobs, they’re hating their jobs or they just don’t have enough fun at work. We have so many great tools at our disposal that there is no need to feel tortured by our work. Most of us spend more waking time at work than we do with our families. We should also be using this time to enhance our happiness.
We need to spread the message and get as many people involved as we can. I created a badge for other bloggers/businesses to put on their blogs/websites. Of course I will post updates about people who have joined in, making sure that my readers know about your help.
Right now we have Blog Catalog as a sponsor and I will also be giving away a free consultation and presentation. If you know anyone willing to sponsor please send me an email karl (AT) workhappynow (DOT) com or through my contact page. It’s a great way to show your business cares about work happiness.
My goal is to have 15 bloggers and 15 companies joining in. As this is the first year this would be a lofty accomplishment, but that’s no matter. What matters I made a big goal that will make a difference in people’s lives. I hope to help over 100 people. Wish me luck.
Check out the “Happiness At Work Action Day” page and join in on the fun.

When I want to visit a blogger whose writing snaps, pops, and sizzles through the screen. I stop by Colleen's blog Communicatrix. One of my favorite posts of hers is Leaps of faith and the pushes that make them.
