Design Friendly Atmosphere for Employees and Clients

Here is my first video for the Work Happy Now audience. The video is only five minutes and gives you valuable information on what to do and what not to do with your workspace.

Leave a comment to let me know what you think. I'm trying to give you as much value as I can, and I could use the feedback. Thanks for watching.

  1. Great start Karl,

Now, do something about the sound, get a better microphone and don't stand so close to a wall (I think a lot of the sound problems are due to this). Rehearse a little and try to be you. Draw a mind-map of the talk to make sure you capture what you have to say, learn it and then just be natural, DON'T read from the screen! With 5 min videos you can afford to do multiple takes.

Try to smile more, you do try to make a point about being happy. Read some jokes prior to doing the video. 😉

    Good luck!

  2. Hey Peter, thanks for the feedback. I needed a good critique and you delivered. It's funny that when you do video there is so many angles that you can't see it all. Since this is my first one I knew that it was going to be a little awkward, but that's all right as long as I keep improving. I really enjoyed shooting the video so I know that I'll only get better.

  3. You're so much better than I was the first time I tried to record my voice for a screencast. I was left without breath around the second minute... my voice faded... it was really funny.

    Keep up the good work!
