Do you feel stuck?

Hi, I’m Karl Staib. The author of Bring Gratitude and coach to people who want to build a more resilient mindset.

I wrote this book because I wished there was a practical book out there to help me with my mindset. I wanted to be more grateful. I knew a grateful mindset would help make me more resilient and happier, but I didn’t know the practical steps to make this mindset shift.

All the self-help books I read were about habits or hacks or with a ton of research or authors that magically woke up happy. None of them had stories about the author going through their struggle and what actions they took to over come them. It was like they woke up, snapped their fingers and they were magically this happy person. That’s when I realized that something was missing. No regular person just wakes up feeling blissful. They have to work at it.

There is no pill or a nights sleep that will magically shift your mindset to one of daily joy. It takes practice, failure, and getting back up and trying again. The more you try, the stronger and happier you become.

That’s where this book comes in. I show you my struggles and how I was able to create a mindset shift that’s stuck with me. It started with the passing of my father and how I used this experience to help me dive deep into the grateful mindset practice that I still use today. I know with a little hard work you can make a mindset shift that will help you bounce back up whenever you get knocked down.

What did Brandy have to say about the book?

Do you appreciate each day like it’s your last?

I struggled with staying positive especially when my father passed away. My ability to feel grateful came much harder when I was losing my father. I could feel my old habits starting to creep back in. The complaining came back so easily. I challenged myself to be more grateful. I wanted to take my gratitude even a step farther. I journaled about my experience as my father was passing away. The challenge turned into a book. It brought the joy back into my life.

I want you to have a similar experience. I want you to challenge yourself to be a little more grateful for what you have in your life.

Watch Your Productivity and Perseverance Grow

The biggest change I’ve made to build a stronger mindset was building the gratitude habit. I was let go from my job and struggled with my confidence to someone that now is the author of Bring Gratitude, public speaker, and  now have a career and family I love. Nothing much changed about my day to day life except my ability to deeply appreciate what I have and not what I wish I had.

I’m Karl Staib the Author of Bring Gratitude

A few years ago I noticed that I stopped writing and being creative. I’d fallen into a rut. I woke up dreading most of my days. I put on a good front for my family and coworkers, but I just wasn’t happy. I was drinking at night to help me relax and drinking coffee to kickstart my lethargic mornings.

Over one holiday my wife gave me a new bluetooth speaker for our home. It wasn’t the one I wanted, so I looked at her and said “They didn’t have the one I wanted?” Her expression showed me how far I’d fallen with my attitude. I knew that I needed to do something to improve my outlook on life.

I’d fallen into back into bad habits. I struggled with building habits that helped my life and my career. I started to track my overall happiness on a scale of 1-10 for a whole month. I ended the month at a 6.7 out of 10. I was expecting a better score. That’s how delusional I was. It was eye opening.

I had a caring family, good job and nice home and yet I struggled to be happy. That’s when I started my gratitude journal, the spark that started this journey. I now appreciate so much more of my day. It’s really the little things like a cup of tea in the morning, which I usually had, but didn’t have the ability to enjoy it as much as I do now.

I’ve struggled like everyone else. I’ve had relationship problems, laid off from a job, 5 years without a raise increase, Cancer, fired from another, money issues, and happiness problems. I’ve studied happiness for over 10 years, speaking to thousands of people all over the world and the one thing that has helped me change from someone that struggled with feeling happy to someone that wakes up excited by what the day will bring is Gratitude. The habit of practicing daily gratitude changed my life and it can do wonders for you. Just the Gratitude Challenge and see what happens after just 30 days.

Grab the book and put me (gratefulness practices) straight in your back pocket.
